Job Description: Our Facility at Tyler is searching for a BE/BC Infectious Disease physician to join the faculty at Our Facility in San Antonio, Texas. Currently, two infectious disease physicians care for the patients in Our Facility, in addition to teaching, students, residents and fellows from Our Facility. We are adding another physician to meet the state’s increasing needs in TB patient care. The current ID physicians will help direct the TB therapy, if the incoming physician is not familiar or comfortable with the management of tuberculosis.

About Your Work:
Monday-Friday
Inpatient management of general medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, anemia and stable chronic kidney disease in addition to the patients’ mycobacterial disease.
Rotate weekend call (from home)
Teach residents and fellows rotating from outside institutions such as UT San Antonio
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
